Terms · version 1.2

Terms of service and acceptable use

Last updated: 1 October 2026. This is version 1.2, written for our testing phase. It is deliberately short. When the service grows, these terms will too, and we will tell you when they change.

01

Who we are

Curious Industries, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Curious”, “we”, “us”), operates Curious Pub, including curious.pub, curiously.page and curiously.dev, a publishing platform where you and your AI tools can build and deploy websites. By creating a trial, deploying a site, or using our CLI, MCP server or website, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where the EEA requires it).

02

The service, plainly

During the testing phase the service is free, provided as-is, and intentionally limited: trial sites have limited lifetimes, deploy and size quotas apply, and capacity is capped daily. Trial sites that are not actively used may expire and be removed. Free sites carry a small Curious badge. Sites served by curious.pub carry a badge linking to curious.pub; do not remove or hide it. We may change limits, features and availability at any time while we learn what this product should be.

03

Your content

What you publish is yours. You grant us the license we need to host, build, cache and serve it publicly, and to keep the archives and logs the service requires. You are responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights to publish it. We don’t claim ownership, and we don’t sell your data or inject tracking into your published sites.

04

Acceptable use

You may not use Curious to publish, host, link to or distribute:

You also may not probe, overload or abuse the platform itself, resell access, or register subdomains chosen to deceive.

05

Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend or terminate sites and accounts, and decline service, at our discretion, when we believe these terms are violated or the platform or its users are put at risk. For the most serious categories we act immediately and, where the law requires, preserve evidence and report to the relevant authorities. To report content, email abuse at curious.pub; we read it.

06

Accounts and deletion

Trial sites expire on the schedule shown when you create them. Accounts inactive for 120 days may be deleted, with notices sent around days 90, 100 and 110 to the email on file. Deletion removes your sites and data from the platform (backups purge on their own cycle). This keeps the free tier sustainable, as promised upfront.

07

Where Curious is available

The service is not available in, and may not be used from or for the benefit of, countries or regions subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or by individuals or entities subject to applicable U.S. sanctions. As of the date of these terms, comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

08

No warranty; limits on liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. This is a free testing-phase service: to the maximum extent permitted by law, Curious Industries, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Keep your own copies of your source; the platform is not your backup.

09

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on curious.pub and, where we can, by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Version 1.2 (1 October 2026) added one sentence to section 2: sites served by curious.pub carry a badge linking to curious.pub, and it must not be removed or hidden.

10

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stand. Curious Pub is operated by Curious Industries, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Questions: support at curious.pub. Reports: abuse at curious.pub.
